About Us

ABC Preparatory is a licensed and family owned daycare facility located in Alpine, UT. It is
owned by Melissa Heaton and her daughter Shelby Oakes who have owned and directed
daycares and preschools for the past 20 years in California. ABC Preparatory provides full-time
and part-time care for children in a safe, fun, and educational environment ensuring the best
atmosphere for child growth and development. Since becoming licensed in September of 2017,
Melissa and Shelby have continued to care for many children from Alpine and surrounding cities
in their new location.
